Forest Park Nature Center

Forest Park Nature Center off of Galena Road in Peoria Heights has a lot of great trails with challenging terrain. Trails are clean and well marked. I have hiked all of the trails- except for the Pimiteoui. This would be a good day hike for the scouts. Here's a map.
